Confrontation with Terrorist - Part 1

Some of my experiences...

Yes, it’s true. I faced a Terrorist.

When : 24th December 2008, Time: Around 9:30 PM.

Where: Some where in Bangalore.

It was not so different day for me till I stepped into my house after a hectic day at office. I unlocked my house’s dual-lock door, stepped in, removed the shoes and switched on the light of hall.

Kept the laptop bag inside my living room.

I had decided to cook food for myself and hence had bought a 250 ml curd on my way to house. I decided to keep that in the refrigerator situated in the 2nd un-occupied room of my house. This room was unoccupied for 3 months or I believed so. I always had a doubt that somebody could have stepped into my house and might have occupied one of the large storage space situated in the kitchen or bathroom. So, daily I had the braveness(madness J) of checking those places to check if somebody is hiding there.

I switched on the room’s light to put the curd in refrigerator and started moving towards it. Suddenly I got this spider-man(really J) like sense that somebody was slowly walking on the temporary steel pipe I placed to dry my clothes. My sense was true. Seeing the sight of this terrorist, I retrograded back to the hall with fear. One good thing was he didn’t notice me, and I saw him hide in the shirt hanger.

I was shocked and blank. He might attack me cowardly when I was asleep or from my back, as terrorists do normally. He might bring damage to my properties by using his weapons(teeth???). The thoughts of running out of the house came to my mind. In the next moment, I thought of the great slains of Terrorist attack who saved my country, country’s people from the terrorists inhuman act.

I thought - This was my house, he had infiltrated to my house. Why should I run away ? That made me feel brave from inside.

I made the decision and the only one who has to go out alive from the room was either me or him.

To be continued..
